Thinking about the last chapter of life can be daunting. Let’s make it meaningful and stress-free for you and the loved ones who will carry out your wishes.

If you've been putting off the conversation, you're not alone. For many individuals, death (especially yours!) is difficult to think, let alone talk about-- rightfully so. On the other hand, if you’re here reading this, I'm glad! It means that even if it's not easy, you understand how important it is to get this last piece of life finalized.

Unsure how to get started? Let Epilogue End of Life Planning take the lead. I’ll provide you with a step-by-step guide to the end of life. Not only will you gain peace of mind that everything will be organized before you go, but your loved ones will appreciate the time and effort you put into making the process easier for them to carry out in a way that also honors your wishes.

Most importantly, let’s be sure that you are the author of your own final chapter. Be brave and put that pen to paper. You’ll have someone there with you every step of the way.

Who I am

Hi, I'm Jennifer Smith--Owner, End-of-Life Planner, and Death Doula at Epilogue End of Life Planning. Located in the Omaha, Nebraska area, I'm looking forward to working with you through this shared human experience!

As a former educator myself and graduate of Death Doula School by RN and fellow Death Doula, Kacie Gikonyo, I can provide comprehensive education on all aspects of the end of life. I hope to give some control in the chaos, a legacy, a voice in one of the most important events of your life. People often say this industry is a calling. Creating Epilogue is my answer.

As an End-of-Life Planner, I am able to assist anyone who is ready to discuss the final chapter of their lives-- whether you're at an age where you'd like to get the plans on paper, or you recently received a terminal diagnosis and everything just got a bit more pressing.  As a Death Doula, I can provide ongoing educational and emotional support for you and your loved ones as you navigate the unknowns of this new phase of life. The work won't always be easy, but it will be worth it.

Your life matters. Your death matters. How can we prepare for a moment that can be powerful, moving, deeply meaningful and dare I say-- beautiful-- all at the same time? Together. Let's get to work!
